THE WORDS OF MY MOUTH

A very warm welcome again to all the new members of C.L.A.Y. I am sure you will be blessed by our daily messages and please do feel free to add a comment, inbox your prayer request or a testimony on the wall. However, if you have a message and you want to share it with all the members let me know and I will sure allow you to send the message.

The question I want you to ask yourself today is, “Am I confessing what the Word says about me?”

There are times that we do meditate on the word, but we cannot seem to confess it over our lives. What are we thinking about that prevents us from confessing the word? God spoke to me and said, “Leslene, you will not move forward if you don’t confess My word over your life. You have to block out all negative and replace it with positive, which is My word.”

We have to tell God about His awesomeness and stay humble at the same time.

Daniel 9: 4 ” I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and keep your commands…..”

For those who find it difficult to recall the scriptures, can start with three for the week and meditate on it. The more you say it the quicker you will remember it and the sooner you will live it. (WE HAVE TO LIVE THE WORD NOT JUST QUOTE IT.)

Below are three scriptures you can start with. (only if you struggle with scriptures.)

I am born of God. [1 John 5:1] I am OF God. [1 John 4:6] I am a spirit being – born of God.

I am a spirit, I have a soul, and I live in a body, but I am first a spirit being – BORN OF GOD. [1 Thess 5:23]

I am a new creature in Christ, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. [2 Cor 5:17]

Don’t be shy to speak to God, in fact it gives Him great pleasure. (The Lord is pleased with his people; He saves the humble. Psalm 149:4)

C.L.A.Y - Changing Lives Around You (YOUNG ADULTS LOVING CHRIST) Recycle

when we were kids , I'd come home from school and find news paper placed , like a trail ,across the floor. I knew that the floor was cleaned and we'd walk on the paper not to walk fresh mud onto the floor... especially on rainy days like this.

when we cooked and peeled vegetables we put again yes... news paper on the table, the peels and skins were removed and placed onto the paper, so when you finished it was neatly rolled into the paper and placed into the bin.

in this way the work surface was cleaned without much fuss and of course this was a way to use old news paper.

Although I did not always understand the habits,. thinking about it today it worked.. things got done and very little was thrown away. As we know it today recycling !!!

Just so nothing God created is just thrown away purely for there is no use for it.

so easily we "write " people off.

so easily we turn our back on friends and neighbors.. for we have no more "use" for them,

so easily the drunkard on the corner is pushed aside... useless man,

or a marriage is ended for it no longer works.

I am reminded that Jesus saw my old life and He saw what I could be, what I could become .

He called my name and even though He called on many many different occasions, different times..

He never threw His hand in despair and thought I give up this is no use.

read Ephesians 4 17-29

22You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

My Prayer

Lord I thank You that you knew me before I was conceived in my mothers womb.
Lord I thank You that every prayer that was uttered, every positive thought out weighed the bad and you remembered my name .
Every dream, every vision, every desire of my heart You place in my heart will not be discarded and blown to the wind.
Thank you Lord for the plans you have for me.Thank you Lord you know my limitations and my strength .
Lord for every situation I think will never change, I hand to you , remould it , renew it in Jesus Name
for every relationship that that does not work ... renew it
for every son and daughter that has turned to alcohol and drugs and we feel like giving up , take it Lord and turn it around..
for every child that cannot learn , take that mind .. renew it
In Jesus name take this broken life ... renew it

You are the Potter and I am the clay... You designed me, made me for a purpose.

I am the vessel Lord use me.
thank You Lord.

I love you with the love of the Lord

Where to have your quiet time - Rick Warren

Good Morning Everyone!

Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. Luke 22:39 (NIV)
The location where you have your quiet time is important. The Bible indicates that Abraham had a regular place where he met with God (Genesis 19:27).

Jesus had a custom of praying in the garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives. "Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him" (Luke 22:39).

Your place ought to be a secluded place. This is a place where you can be alone, where it's quiet, and where you will not be disturbed or interrupted. This may take some ingenuity, but it is necessary. It ought to be a place -
where you can pray aloud without disturbing others;
where you have good lighting for reading (a desk, perhaps);
where you are comfortable. (WARNING: Do not have your quiet time in bed. That's too comfortable!)
Your place ought to be a special place. Wherever you decide to meet with the Lord, make it a special place for you and him. As the days go by, that place will come to mean a lot to you because of the wonderful times you have there with Jesus Christ.
~We have to secure ourselves against the storms of life by grounding ourselves in the Word of GOD. We dont need to understand, we just need to hold HIS hand to have peace in the midst of the storms!

Have a Christ-filled weekend!

For a stronger faith

Lord, my faith feels week. I sometimes doubt you and do things I wish I hadn't done, but I know in weakness there is perfect strength, and I thank you for the wonderful truth of what you do for human lives. You give us life, vibrant, exciting, unending life with an enthusiasm that never runs down. Help me to believe that with all my heart. For this I give you thanks. In Jesus' name. Amen "I will strengthen the weak." Ezekiel 34:16

What are friends for?

BIBLE READING:
Job 15:1-21:34

PREVIEW
What do you most want from your friends? Think especially of your times of need, when you’re emotionally down, defeated, confused, or vulnerable. What would you want your friends to do at times like that?
In the second round of discussion between Job and his friends, Job indirectly lists the ways in which his friends could comfort him. Unfortunately, they don’t take the hint and, instead, go at him even harder. Some friends they are! As you read this passage, learn how not to relate to your friends in need.
Other lessons here include: finding real wisdom; being defensive (Bildad); and having confidence in God (Job).

PERSONAL APPLICATION
Job’s friends were supposed to be comforting him in his grief. Instead they condemned him for causing his own suffering (Job 16:1-17:16). Job began his second reply to Eliphaz by calling him and his friends “miserable comforters” (16:2).
Job’s words reveal several ways to become a better comforter to those in pain: (1) don’t talk just for the sake of talking; (2) don’t sermonize by giving pat answers; (3) don’t accuse or criticize; (4) put yourself in the other person’s place; and (5) offer help and encouragement.
The next time someone close to you is suffering, try Job’s suggestions to comfort him or her, knowing that these suggestions were given by a person who needed great comfort. The best comforters are those who know something about personal suffering.

Lots of Love

Your brother's and your sister's

Allow your brother's and sister's to be where they are.
It is the job of the Holy Spirit to work with their hearts and mind to awaken to God's love within them.
The job of the Holy Spirit is to help you awaken to God's love within you - to see the innocense, love and perfection within your brother's and sister's.
Seeing the good in them is a choice.
Every time you make that choice, you are an inch closer to joining with Him and the choice no longer exists.

Blessing to you

Love
